New

Create a new file.
A file may contain several parts:

• Infos: general description of the file. Typical key for this tab panel is title, copyright or description.
• Sections: the columns of your table.
• Options: property that contain each elements but are not part of the table. For example level. ID should always be part of it.
• Questions: question to ask to get the answer for this section. It will be included in What is ... of ?

Add new language is used in case you want the user interface to offer a different language for this new file.
The New menu is initialized with the same structure as the file you started.
There are also other ways to create a new file, these ways could be more understandable for some users. You can save the current file and edit the saved file with a text editor.

Open

Open a new file.
You can open a file which is located on your hard disk.

Inner Files

Open a inner file.
JLearnIt contains other files than the liste of the vocabulary. You can open these files using this menu. Here is the list of the other files included with JLearnIt:

Name	Description
vocabulary	The default one when you start JLearnIt for the first time. It contains the vocabulary in 15 languages.
irregular verbs	The list of the irregular verbs in English, German and Dutch.
countries	The list of the countries with their capital and currencies.
elements	The list of the atomic elements as with weight.
united states	The list of the USA states with their capital and abbreviation.
départements français	The list of the French departments with their number and prefecture.
morse	The morse alphabet.

Save

Save the current file.
If no specific files were opened before, the default file saved is vocabulary.txt in the JLearnIt directory.

Save As

Save the current file with your preferences.
You can specify:

• The name of the file you want to save it.
• If you don't want to save all the sections, you can save only the sections you have in the table by selection As view.
• You can select to save or not the properties associatied with the elements by selecting Propeties.
• You can select to save the options of the elements in the list.
• You can choose to save only the selected category.
• You can also generate a HTML file by selecting In HTML.

Open Score

Open a new score file.
The score file is used in order to know which words you already answered correctly or not. You can also set the default score file in View -> Options.

Save Score

Save your score.
If you have practiced for a while in the Question panel and would like that the program to remember which words you already answered correctly, you can save your score.

Print

Print the selected category.
This will print the table as you can see it in the Table pab panel.

Load Configuration

Open a new configuration.
If you have save several configurations you can then load another configuration file. This new configuration will become your default one when you restart the application.
The list of the configuration file is created with the .ini files located in the JLearnIt directory.

Save Configuration

Save your configuration.
Save your configuration. This could be especially handful if several persons use the software. The file save should be in the same directory as the sofware and the extension of the file should be .ini.

Exit

Exit the program.
